The Circulators invite you to dance with us Friday evenings at the Recital Hall in San Diego's beautiful Balboa Park from 6:30 - 9:30 PM. We square dance at the floor and plus levels with local callers from 6:30 – 8:00 pm with round dancing between tips. We have dedicated round dancing from 8:00 - 9:30 with Bill Davenport cueing. See our calendar for who will be calling each night. Couples, singles, and children (with adult supervision) are welcome. The entrance donation is $6.00 per person, unless it is a special dance with an out-town-caller. Children 13 and under are free.
It's summer time! Put away those petticoats, bloomers, and long-sleeved shirts and don your summer attire. Shorts, short-sleeved shirts or what ever can help keep you cool while you work up a sweat dancing is acceptable to wear to our dances.
We have changed our minds, or maybe we've come to our senses! Circulators will be breathing new life into the club by bringing round dancing back with Bill & Beth Davenport. Come dance squares and rounds with us Friday evenings!

At the present time Circulators is hosting various guest callers. Some have years of experience and others are beginning their calling journey. Check our calendar for who is calling for a given evening. The friendly people and dancing will be fun no matter who is calling!
Bill & Beth Davenport: Bill started square dancing as a teenager. After Bill and Beth
were married, they started square and round dance lessons in the Boston area (early 1980s). Over
time, they branched into ballroom lessons and competition. They stopped dancing in the early 1990s,
but came back into round dancing in 2016, and square dancing in 2019. Bill started cueing in
the summer of 2018, and since early 2019 Bill and Beth have been teaching several local round
dance classes.
They enjoy tennis, hiking, road trips, choreography, teaching, and
dancing (both rounds and squares). They love living in San Diego and don’t miss the snow one
bit! They have two grown children and one grandchild.
They have choreographed and taught multiple dances at the SDRDI
Festival, the Fiesta de la Cuadrilla, and at the yearly ICBDA (International Choreographed
Ballroom Dance Association) convention. They can be reached via
